Bonita graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Physiotherapy from Gannon University in Erie, PA in 2004. She also graduated with an Honors with a Bachelor degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology from Brock University in 2002. She also graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1998 and became a registered massage therapist. She has been actively practicing as registered Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience, along with being an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
She is also a certified personal trainer providing expertise in training athletes and helping those meet their physical goals. She has completed many continuing education courses over the years to offer many forms of treatment to her patients: certified in acupuncture, certified pelvic health physiotherapist (completed level 1, 2/3A), taping, manual therapy, chronic pain management, gait analysis, orthotic certification fitting/perscription, brace/compression garment fitter and exercise prescription
She has many years of experience in treating outpatient orthopaedic and neurological conditions, along with WSIB and MVA patients. She has worked closely with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and kinesiologists/exercise therapists. Bonita’s career path has also taken her to long term care and hospital settings which has vastly broadened her experience.
Bonita believes a key in physical rehabilitation is knowledge provided to the recipient, thus she will educate her patients regarding the stages of healing and injury to improve her clients understanding of their recovery and prevent future injury/impairments. This in turn will improve their overall health and well-being in the long term.
In Bonita’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, canoeing, gardening, bike riding, researching topics of interest, reading, and exercise classes.

My name is Sonya Papail and I am an Exercise Therapist at Physiotherapy in Newmarket! Ever since a young age, always had a strong passion for fitness and health as well as encouraging individuals to improve their overall health and wellness through a non-medicine based approach. Therefore, I decided to expand my knowledge by completing my diploma at Georgian College studying Fitness and Health Promotion. I have also, furthered my education studying Mental Health Coaching allowing myself to have a deeper understand for individuals. Being able to support individual’s mentally and physically through exercise rehabilitation is a huge passion of mine! I am looking forward to meeting you and aiding in your health journey!

Hi! I am Diana Ingriselli, an exercise therapist on Physiotherapy in Newmarket’s team. I have an Honors Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Brock University and a passion for enhancing fitness and health to improve quality of life. Growing up, I participated in sports such as soccer, swimming, and skating, which taught me the value and importance of fitness and wellness, and that I wanted to pursue a career in this area. My interest in this field grew as I studied human anatomy, movement and development in school, and worked with diverse clinical populations. I have experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries, participating in cardiac rehabilitation programs, and designing fitness programs for those with disabilities sparking my desire to work in rehabilitation. Hi! My name is Liaba Khan and I am an Exercise Therapist at Physiotherapy in Newmarket. Earlier this year, I started here as a volunteer and it was one of the best decisions I ever made! Not only did it allow me to meet amazing people, but it also gave me the opportunity to work closer with patients now as an Exercise Therapist. Through my years studying Kinesiology, I have developed a strong interest in human anatomy, and how various parts of our body work together to aid us in moving around in our everyday lives. Hi everyone, I’m Konrad, and I am one of the exercise therapists on our treatment team here! I have a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and I am certified as an Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine. I previously worked as Personal Trainer at a commercial fitness facility in North Carolina, specializing in applying strength and conditioning techniques to people with chronic health conditions and special populations from diabetes to osteoporosis to low back pain, to improve their health and fitness and assist in reaching their goals! Hi, my name is Hannah VanTol and I am an exercise therapist at Physiotherapy in Newmarket. Growing up I enjoyed being physically active swimming, hiking, skiing and playing ultimate frisbee. My love of science and interest in the human body lead me to Brock University where I earned an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and then to register with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario as a registered Kinesiologist. I previously worked as a group fitness trainer and personal trainer helping individuals to improve their fitness in a safe and effective manner. Hi! My name is Kristine, and I am an Exercise Therapist here at Physiotherapy in Newmarket. I graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Growing up, I played competitive tennis and was always passionate about health and wellness. That interest led me to work with a wide range of individuals from clients with neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries at the Hamilton General Hospital, to those living with multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries at the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence (PACE). What I love most about this line of work is meeting new people and helping them feel stronger and more confident through movement and exercise. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and going for walks. I am excited to be part of this team and look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Josée is a graduate of The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences program in Chiropody. She is highly experience in biomechanical analysis and in the casting of custom foot orthotics for a wide spectrum of disorders. Josée is available for onsite consultations at our clinic regarding the assessment, prescription and provision of custom foot orthotics.
